Harvest Bible Chapel
In 1988 a group of eighteen people from across the northwest Chicago suburbs had a vision to start
Harvest Bible Chapel. The church met in Rolling Meadows with James MacDonald as the Senior Pastor. Today, over 12,000 people call this church their home as they worship Christ together on five campuses.
The Harvest Network
In 2000 Harvest planted their first church in
Glen Ellyn, Illinois, and announced the vision to start 10 churches in 10 years.
Harvest Bible Fellowship was formed to edify, protect, encourage, and support these new churches. By the end of 2010 God will have raised up 48 Harvest Bible Chapels meeting in North America and internationally.
Harvest-DeKalb
In August of 2007, the people of Wellspring Chapel, a four year old church and affiliate member of Harvest Bible Fellowship, embraced the decision and leadership of its Elders to transition to partner membership and become Harvest Bible Chapel of DeKalb.
Harvest Bible Chapel of DeKalb owns a facility, debt-free, which includes a new auditorium that will seat up to 550, classrooms, and a students/youth auditorium on about 6 acres in the medical/professional corridor halfway between DeKalb and Sycamore.
