Host / Hostess

Primary Purpose:

Assist visitors and first time attendees. Take the initial welcome several steps further. Learn about them and help them get settled for service (children to Higher Ground, provide them a short overview of our service, etc).

Tasks:

Be at the doors by 9:30am.

Assist in getting children to Higher Ground.

Explain service order.

Answer any questions they have.

Assist with special needs (handicapped, hearing impaired, etc).

Invite them to stay after service for coffee; find them after service and introduce them to someone else.

Introduce them to the Pastors and Harvest Ministries – help them get plugged in.

Work with the Hospitality Ministry to make Harvest a welcoming and inviting church.

If unable to serve on scheduled date, use call list to find replacement and notify Hospitality scheduler.
