Usher

Primary Purpose:

Service order and security. Ushers distribute worship folders, meet and seat guests, collect the offering, serve communion, support safety/security efforts and perform other duties as needed before, during, and after each service.

Tasks:

Be at the doors by 9:30am.

Distribute worship folders.

Assist with seating as needed.

Direct visitors and new attendees to Host/Hostess and /or Welcome Center.

Collect offering.

Serve communion.

Take and document attendee count.

Close doors at service start, assist late-comers with seating.

Develop, review and adhere to safety procedures.

General monitoring of assigned section and react to needs as required.

Provide door access control during service.

Bid farewell as congregation exits.

Collect and restock Friendship register.

Work with the Hospitality Ministry to make Harvest a welcoming and inviting church.

If unable to serve on scheduled date, use call list to find replacement and notify Hospitality scheduler.
